Robin Szeliga, CPC, ACC

Robin Szeliga, President and Owner of Right Action Consulting, began her consulting and coaching practice after 25 years in Corporate America. Her years as a Corporate and Non Profit Executive have given her unique insight to Leadership and Interpersonal styles, Management Practices and the Opportunities created by Change and Transition. Her passion for Coaching evolved over time as she experienced change and explored transition, as a means to achieving a purposeful live. Robin entered her journey of change and transition to learn and evolve and along the way discovered a passion to serve others. Robin uses the wisdom gained from her unique combination of experiences in her Consulting and Coaching practice. She helps businesses and individuals articulate their purpose, embrace their principles, and achieve their goals.

Robin was a competitive triathlete and cyclist and is an avid yoga practitioner and instructor. Her competitive nature played a role in her early successes both in her career and in her sports of choice. Her yoga practice helped her regain her perspective on her life’s purpose and priorities after many years as a corporate workaholic.

Robin is a sought after, dynamic public speaker and has shared her insights on University campuses and classrooms, at Investor Conferences, with Professional Associations and at Continuing Professional Education forums. Her unique combination of experiences as a business executive, competitive athlete and professional coach are the genesis of her insightful and energizing presentations.

Matt Long

Matt Long, M.A., M.Ed. is a mental conditioning coach and sport psychology consultant who works with athletes on assessing their mental skills (i.e. confidence, motivation, focus, self-management, etc.) and developing their abilities in this often-neglected component of performance. His focus is on helping people better understand, and more importantly improve, the aspects of performance which so often fail to get the attention they deserve – building and maintaining confidence, the ability to perform well under pressure, setting goals and reaching them effectively, developing mental resilience, etc. Matt’s consulting is informed by a background as an athlete, coach, teacher, and mentor, enabling him to work effectively with people from all backgrounds. He is passionate about the field of applied sport psychology and its value, both in the athletic arena and in everyday life.  Matt is a Certified Consultant through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology.

Matt’s formal educational background includes a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a Sports Marketing concentration from the University of Oregon in 2003, a Master’s in Education and Teaching Credential from the University of Oregon in 2004, and a Master’s in Sport Psychology from John F. Kennedy University in 2012.  His time at JFKU provided opportunities to facilitate mental training with athletes from a variety of sports, including baseball, cross country, basketball, golf, football, lacrosse, soccer, and strength training.  He was able to accumulate over 500 hours of experience working with athletes during his two years in the program, and presented his final Applied Project – titled, “Acknowledge-Adjust-Accept: An Applied Model for Helping Performers Excel Under Pressure.”

Currently, Matt is the Mental Game Instructor at MetaGolf Learning Center, housed in Broken Tee Golf Course in Englewood as well as Colorado Golf Club in Parker. As the Mental Game Instructor he leads workshops on the application of sport psychology techniques and mental skills to golf performance, as well as one-to-one instruction and playing lessons.  Matt is also a certified trainer for the Positive Coaching Alliance, leading workshops for athletes and coaches.  The workshops are designed to help participants maximize their experience with youth sports and emphasize positive character development through sport.
